Independent reporter Ken Klippenstein [found evidence of the office’s existence](https://www.levernews.com/r/e5ec65e6?m=47415e10-4513-4b24-a7c6-03a71324efbc) in the White House’s 2027 budget request, which details how the new NSPM-7 Joint Mission Center is staffed by counterterrorism and anti-crime personnel pulled from 10 different federal agencies. 🔎 The new center works to integrate “intelligence, operational support, and financial analysis” in order to “proactively identify” individuals and groups engaged or planning to be engaged in domestic terrorism. 🌐 Law enforcement specifically identified social media as a breeding ground for “radicalization and… violence,” suggesting the center is focusing resources toward monitoring the internet.
